All of our dogs live in our kennelfencing. With invaluable help from family, friends and neighbours, we built our own court from scratch during spring/summer 2003. We had a lot of consolidations on the way, but it is today satisfying.

The dogs have a large amount of space, and one court have a ceiling. Inside, there are 2 rooms. The dogs have their cages in one, and the other one is for grooming, feeding etc. We have inlaid hot and cold water there, and both of the rooms have gullys for easy cleansing. Sandy soil in the dogs court makes them stay reasonabely dry, even in the spring thaw.

We're blessed with friendly neighbours who can stand some noise in between, plus benevolent landlords who allows us to take our dogs straight out in the woods. There are great possibilities for walking.

Daily, it is Solveig who has the main responsibility for the dogs. Geir does a shift when 'the mistress of the house' sometimes works at very strange hours of the day, and sleeps when nobody else does. He's also very involved with training, and everything that involves cuddling. Solveig is also in charge of all exhibitions/shows, but both family and neighbours are attentive, and wants to be updated.

If both of us are out of town, it's Geirs mother, Grethe, that is in charge of the kennel. We are very happy to have the worlds best kennel substitute. And that she and her friend Erik are our nearest neighbours, is also making it very easy. It's great to know that our dogs are in safe hands, and that they are taken good care of. Grethe also helps out when we're having puppies.
